Live Update 2.3.0 is rolling out now. Embark says it brings the Noxious Set, a number of fixes and a new player project. Restart the game to download it.
Embark also set a new rhythm. After today, fixes return to a three-week schedule and store updates stay weekly.
Soul's Offering
Celeste is encouraging the members of Speranza to pause and honor the fallen. Embark says each offering is unique, and everyone who pauses in reverence shares in the Soul's Offering.
The project runs from October 27 to November 16 and has four stages. The last one asks you to set off a firework on the rooftop of the Santa Maria Houses.
Gear changes
Heavy Shield base charge goes from 80 to 90. Embark says its usage is still low, and this bump slightly improves survivability against most weapons.
Flame Spray damage rises from 10/s to 13/s, and its durability drain falls by 50%.
The Firefly Burner now activates on impact when thrown. It travels while leaving a trail of fire and explodes after about 3 seconds.
Adrenaline Shot works at max stamina. Its effect no longer stacks, and using another shot refreshes the duration.
Blueprint drops
The Dolabra, Bobcat, Equalizer, Jupiter, Tempest and Vulcano blueprints can now drop in any major map condition, with a slightly lower drop chance. The Emperor Key blueprint drops less often from Redirection pods, and those pods now have a small chance to give ARC parts and high-tier ARC loot.
Grappling Hook and Camera
Grappling Hook fixes land. You can use it inside the Matriarch's shield, tether items now affect swinging players, and the hook reattaches to debris when its target breaks apart. Embark also fixed extreme launches when the line snags on geometry.
The advanced Camera gains Color Push and Black & White filters, and the Basic Camera has less depth-of-field blur for clearer selfies.
Frigate and Emperor
Loot is better distributed inside the Emperor and on the Frigate, with higher tiers placed deeper in. You can ping the Frigate from long range as it enters the area, and new hatches show how far its puzzle has progressed. Collision fixes around the fallen Emperor and the Frigate reduce getting stuck and out-of-bounds access.
Menus and stability
The Expedition Vault is being disabled. Raiders receive Bronze Statuettes for purchased slots, and everything in the Vault moves to the stash. Gameplay settings gain a camera bob option, and the Reward Pass screen renames Daily Feats to Feats and Weekly Bonus to Milestones.
Embark cut audio memory use on Xbox Series S, added a workaround for a ray tracing crash on AMD RX 7000 series GPUs and updated FidelityFX Super Resolution to version 4.1.1.
Embark teased Soul's Offering, a new Raider Project for ARC Raiders, in a short video on October 23. It goes live October 27 and asks Raiders to honor Toledo's fallen.
